Somebody that i worked with before was just the catalyst for me coming forward to say, hey, look, there needs to be some changes in this industry. there needs to be some more safety protocols. and i understand there is a checks and balances with the firearms. but in my personal opinion, a lot of those are futile. an armorer who has been around guns their entire lives, who worked with prop guns, with real guns and with blank firing weapons can walk on to a set and show it to an assistant director on set, show them the barrel is clear, or that the gun is clear, you know, they may have never met ...
