In speaking of the volunteer extraordinaire who was recognized as an Advance Woman of Achievement in the Class of 2012, Anthony C. Ferreri , then SIUH president, said of her community service: “Her gracious demeanor and welcoming smile serve to ease anxiety for those who desire information, whether it be the location of pre-surgery testing, a patient’s room, or simply directions to a particular service area,” he said in nominating the Great Kills resident as a Woman of Achievement. ....
