The US provides myriad opportunities in the philanthropic landscape to truly do well by doing good. There are many opportunities currently available to us to help others, our community, and even our own families.
We don’t just play music at The Current. We are here to amplify voices to inform, include and inspire. That means a few things: we shatter conventions of what a music station can be by delivering the best authentic new music alongside the music that inspired it, from local to legendary, indie to influential, new to nostalgic; our playlists are handpicked by our hosts, who are embedded in our community and thoughtfully select each song; and we build connection by telling the stories behind the music and artists, and through unique experiences like live events.
The Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands, or CFVI, has awarded $224,362 in grants to 18 organizations to support youth enrichment programming serving children and older youth in the territory.
Partnership with Community Foundation of Kawartha Lakes will assist in attracting donations for such initiatives as the proposed Omemee beach splash pad.
