April is Autism Awareness Month

 In recognition of April being Autism Awareness Month, Jess created “Mystic.”  A common symbol for autism is a puzzle piece. A story through the park

 Local educators are finding innovative ways to take their students on field trips during a pandemic.  World of Wonder Ellen Street Campus created a StoryWalk® for the students, which consists of laminated pages from a children’s book installed along an outdoor path.  On Wednesday, Feb. 3, all of the Young 5 students at the school took a walk through Rackham Park behind the Fenton Community and Cultural Center where 35 posters are set up.
