Trendy Melbourne councils ban phrases 'silly old bugger' and 'old fogey' in ageism campaign
A number of Melbourne councils have joined forces to combat ageism by banning phrases including 'silly old bugger' and 'old fogey'. The Victorian government has partnered with the Inner East Primary Care Partnership to attempt to tackle prejudice against the elderly with seven trendy eastern suburbs councils choosing to be involved.
