Senior Cool Care Program provides free air conditioner units, applications now open
The program provides a free conditioner unit or fan to eligible people 60 and older with a low income. To qualify, individual households can make a maximum of $1,882 a month. Couple households can make a maximum of $2,556. Only people without central air conditioning can receive a window unit. Other low income households can request a box or tower fan.
