TRAVERSE CITY — This will be Arnold Amusements’ first Cherry Festival appearance without former owner Agnes Arnold at the helm.
The University of Houston is going to renovate Agnes Arnold Hall, the building where multiple students jumped to their deaths in recent years.
The announcement comes after two University of Houston students committed suicide at the same academic building within six weeks.
The university has allocated $38 million for a three-phase project that includes screening in the upper-level balconies of Agnes Arnold Hall while enhancing security protocols and beautifying the building.
