Jane Waltenburg
Jane Waltenburg, 86, of Hermantown passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Solvay Hospice House on March 13, 2022. She was born on March 7, 1936 to Louis and Agnes Levine. She married Donald Waltenburg on June 16, 1957 and they raised 4 children together while living in Duluth. Don and Jane owned and operated a small grocery store and served the Central Hillside community for many years. Jane was instrumental in the creation of the free/reduced price meals program in the Duluth Public Schools.
