On April 22 this year, the Minister of Defense, Major General Bashir Salihi Magashi (71) (rtd) was on the spot. He told State House correspondents that “Nigeria is bleeding”. During the media chat, he informed us all that he has been a lawyer for the past thirty four years. I guess the country knows him more as a general than a legal practitioner. FEC Observes One Minute Silence For Ex-Kwara State Military Administrator


 
 
Members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday observed a minute silence for the former Kwara State Military Administrator, Retired Brigadier General Ahmed Aboki Abdullahi.
The Late Brigadier General Abdallah served in the Federal Executive Council during the military regime when President Buhari was the Head of State, as Minister of Communications and later Minister of Social Development, Youth and Sports.
He later became the Military Administrator of Kwara State from 1987-1988.
