Police Regional Office-Bicol spokesperson, Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, on Tuesday said cops armed with court-issued warrants collared the suspects who are facing charges of rape cases. One of those arrested was Arnel Butial, 39, of Barangay San Roque, who was tagged as the No. 6 most wanted person in the said municipality. Antonio Alejo, a senior citizen, was also arrested in Barangay San Isidro. He is the No. 3 most wanted person for three counts of statutory rape. The police operatives also nabbed Ryan Legarde, 21, of also Barangay San Isidro, who is listed as the No. 7 most wanted person. LEGAZPI CITY - Police operatives collared two illegal drug peddlers and seized from them over PHP1 million worth of suspected shabu in a drug sting on Saturday in Naga City, Camarines Sur province. In a statement on Sunday, Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Police Regional Office 5 (PRO5) spokesperson, identified the duo as Ronna Balcueva, 29, of Barangay Calaug and Jacqueline Geroy, 29, of the same village in the city. The suspects were caught selling 11 grams of shabu worth PHP75,000 to an undercover police agent in a buy-bust operation in the said barangay. A search on the suspects led to the confiscation of two plastic sachets of shabu one weighing 125 grams and the other weighing 25 grams. All the seized shabu had a total estimated value of over PHP1 million. "The suspects were detained in Police Station 3, Naga City," Calubaquib said, adding that they are facing charges for possession and selling of illegal substances under Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Dr ....

In a report on Sunday, Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said operatives seized two knot-tied sachets of shabu weighing 125 grams and with an estimated value of PHP850,000. Suspects Armando Del Rosario, 51, and Gil San Buenaventura, both of Barangay San Roque, were caught at around 2:20 p.m. selling a sachet of shabu weighing 25 grams to an undercover police agent. Further search yielded 100 grams more. The suspects will face charges of possession and selling of illegal drugs. (PNA) } ....
