Two New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency executives have sued three colleague executives in the Akatsi South constituency of the Volta Region over alleged defamatory statements.
Mr George Aho Yao, the Akatsi South Constituency Treasurer and Mr Ocloo Mawuli Egos, the Constituency Secretary have jointly sued Mr Patrick Xormeku Escu Agboyibor the Constituency Deputy Secretary, Mr Mensah Kadzaku the Constituency Youth Organizer and Madam Veronica Sakpaku, the Constituency Women Organizer at the Sogakope High Court.
According to the plaintiffs, the defendants in a petition some few months ago asked President Akufo-Addo not to renominate Mr Leo Nelson Adzidoga as the Akatsi South Municipal Chief Executive in his next government. ....
