2nd Japanese 'Akudama Drive' Anime DVD/BD Release Packaging Arrives

The fall 2020 anime adaptation of the
Akudama Drive property from Too Kyo Games and Studio Pierrot previously revealed its home video release plans. The twelve-episode series is being done as limited editions for both DVD and Blu-ray editions that began on December 25th, 2020. The DVDs are priced at 6,800 yen each while the Blu-ray releases are priced at 7,800 yen each.
After revealing the main covers previously for the first three volumes, we now have the packaging design for the second installment in larger form.
The series is directed by Tomohiro Taguchi with Yoshifumi Sasahara as the assistant director. Norimitsu Kaiho is handling the scripts while Cindy H. Yamauchi is working on adapting Rui Komatsuzaki’s designs. Studio Pierrot is handling the animation production. ....

Akudama Drive property from Too Kyo Games and Studio Pierrot is getting some new promotion that’s definitely welcome. A bit later than other shows, Funimation has now brought out their newest clip from the show where a rag-tag group of criminals, or Akudama, must work together (but not by choice)!
