Take-It-Back Movement Accuses Nigerian Police Of Frustrating Sexual Assault Case In Oyo State
Pro-democracy and human rights advocacy group, the Take-It-Back Movement (TIB), has accused the police authorities at the Orita Police Station, Oyo State Command of compromising a sexual and physical assault case reported to it. The TIB in a statement on Tuesday by its Coordinator, Sexual and Gender Based Violence Unit, Omolola Pedro, stated that the case is brought by a woman, Tinuade Mary, who was sexually and physically assaulted by her neighbour, one Akeem Sanni, in Ibadan.
