Aker BP has improved plans to invest $19 billion in new oil and gas projects offshore Norway by 2028
Polish oil and gas company PGNiG and Norwegian oil exploration firm Aker BP have discovered new reserves of oil and gas in the Norwegian Sea, PGNiG announced on Friday.
This marks the third discovery this month off Norway, but all of them have been judged to be minor in size.
Lundin's forthcoming takeover by Aker BP has prompted a name change to reflect its new focus on renewables.
The profit was driven by higher hydrocarbon prices and output at fields including Norwegian North Sea asset Skarv.
