Akshaya Patra s New Mid Day Meal Kitchen to Provide Lunch to 50,000 Children Daily

GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sononwal inaugurated the new Centralized Mid-Day Meal Kitchen of Akshaya Patra Foundation at a function in North Guwahati on Wednesday.
The new centralized kitchen has been built on an expansive 10 bigha of land given by the State government. The funds for the construction of the same is provided by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The new kitchen is likely to provide lunch to 50 thousand children in Kamrup (Metro) and Kamrup districts. The new facility will replace Akshaya Patra s former kitchen. ....
