Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced that it provided services for 2,112 plot in citizens’ subdivisions, through integrated infrastructure for these plots within the road and infrastructure projects implemented by Ashghal in the Northern areas and North of Al Nasiriyah.
Northern areas projects include the first, third and fifth packages of Al Ebb and Leabaib project, the third and fourth packages of Al Kharaitiyat and Izghawa project.
Eng. Salim Al Shawi, Assistant Manager of Roads Projects Department, said that Ashghal pays special attention to roads and infrastructure development projects in existing areas and new citizens’ subdivisions, by developing an integrated and advanced internal roads network that provides connectivity with the main roads. In addition to providing infrastructure services, which allows citizens to build their houses in new subdivisions, while providing advanced and efficient services in existing areas, said Al Shawi.

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs represented by Mosques Management Department has announced COVID-19 preventive measures for Eid Al Fitr prayer congregation in mosques and prayer grounds.
As per the measures, the worshippers should keep wearing face masks during their presence in mosques or prayer grounds for Eid Al Fitr prayer, the Ministry has tweeted.
They should carry their own prayer mats and maintain social distancing of one and a half metres between two worshippers. The worshippers are required to show green status on Ehteraz app to the representatives of the Mosques Management Department at the entrances of mosques and prayer grounds.

Doha: Doha football giants Al Sadd yesterday delivered a commanding performance with a 5-0 demolition of bottom-placed Al Kharaitiyat.
Coached by Xavier Hernandez, hosts Al Sadd eased past Al Kharaitiyat in Week 12 of QNB Stars League.
After a goalless first half, Al Sadd - playing at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium - turned on the goal-fest in the second half for their 10th win of the season.
