The measure, which was backed by the Planning Board and opposed by the Selectboard, was defeated 327-204. Dan Collins, with 244 votes, defeated Selectboard member Al Posnanski (208) along with Ami Gammell (51) and Derek Herro (30) in a four-way race for a three-year term. Voters approved a $4.13 million municipal budget on a 376-167 vote. A $1.2 million bond to upgrade the town’s water system, which includes water main replacements from Canaan Street Lake to the water treatment plant, also sailed through, 442-95. ....
