Hundreds of thousands of workers came out for the Northern Ireland strike as workers fought for better pay
After Thursday's mass walk-out, some public sector staff are still taking part in industrial action.
Road gritters are among more than 150,000 public sector workers taking part in Northern Ireland’s biggest strike in 50 years.
Those sympathetic to the demands of strikers have been called upon by the deputy general secretary of Nipsa Patrick Mulholland to show their support in a campaign of public disobedience and resistance to the dismantling of public services.
Civil servants, teachers, train and bus drivers, police staff and healthcare workers are among those planning to walk out in a row over pay.
