Just like fruits are cut and soaked in alcohol for Christmas cake, it’s been a long-standing tradition to make wines at home for the family’s Christmas meal. This year it’s no different as hobby winemakers are making special wines for their family get-togethers. However, grapes are de rigeur. Everything in the pantry is being brought out to be fermented.
