Anthony Nelson, a subway cleaner, jumped into action after seeing the suspect, Alexander Wright, allegedly harassing passengers.

A New York City subway cleaner was left bloodied and with broken bones in an attack that the head of NYC Transit is calling “outrageous and unacceptable.”

Lisa Nelson called for accountability after her son, Anthony Nelson, was beaten while trying to help two women who were being harassed in the subway.
