First Lady of Zimbabwe Auxillia Mnangagwa visited the Belmedpreparaty pharmaceutical company during her visit to Belarus on 7 April, BelTA has learned.
Belarus has plans to expand the production of a new cancer vaccine, Deputy Director for Research at the Alexandrov National Cancer Center Sergei Krasny told a BelTA correspondent on the sidelines of the Intellectual Belarus exhibition.
"People from Belarus to America gave this statement of the president a tongue-lashing. But I'm not saying that COVID treats cancer. These are the facts. I wish it were so – that was what I said. And now everyone is finding fault with it,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko continues a series of events to evaluate the country's response to COVID-19. A day before, the head of state held a large-scale meeting to discuss the epidemiological situation and measures taken to counter the spread of the coronavirus infection. On 20 October Aleksandr Lukashenko is visiting healthcare facilities of Minsk District.
Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived at the hospital immediately after visiting the nearby Alexandrov National Cancer Center. There, the head of state got acquainted with the state of affairs and the organization of medical care for cancer patients.
