The Chairman of the Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Prof. Femi Akinwumi has directed the Board’s physical planning department to immediately commence rehabilitation works on schools recently affected by a rainstorm at Erinmope Ekiti in Moba Local Government Area of the state.
Prof. Akinwumi gave the directive while conducting an on-the-spot assessment of buildings damaged by a rainstorm last weekend at St. Jude Catholic Public Primary School and A.U.D Primary School at Erinmope.
Akinwumi expressed gratitude to God that no life was lost in the disaster that reportedly destroyed over 50 houses in the community.
