Mamakwa likely would have survived if given medical treatment, expert testifies
A medical expert testified that had Don Mamakwa received medical treatment, he would have very likely survived. The coroner's inquest into the deaths of Mamakwa and Roland McKay, who both died while in Thunder Bay Police Service custody, continued on Tuesday for a sixth day.
