First Nation makes new home for children's shoes left last year on Parliament Hill
Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg, an Algonquin First Nation located 136 kilometres north of Ottawa, is now the home of children's shoes that were left on Parliament Hill in 2021 after the discovery of suspected burial sites at former residential schools.
