A student who is a responsible learner is a self-directed learner, appreciates education, and believes in the importance of a continuing education. The student values life-long learning habits along with the importance of community and global responsibility. The following students have been chosen: Brotey Hewitt, fourth grade (elementary level), son of Nicole Welchner; Ava Sheufelt, sixth grade (junior high level), daughter of David and Brooke Sheufelt; Emily Schultz, tenth grade (high school level), daughter of Christy Schultz and Josh Lesoski and Jason Schultz; and Alivia Roehrig, twelfth grade (senior student), daughter of Shannon Torrez. ....
