All set to observe ‘Amar Ekushey’ in Khulna

KHULNA: Different government, semi-government, autonomous bodies, socio-cultural organisations, political parties and educational institutions have completed all preparations to observe the “Amar Ekushey and International Mother Language Day-2021” on February 21 (Sunday).
As per government directives, at least five people from different organisations will be allowed to go to the Shaheed Minar premises in memory of the Language Heroes and at least two persons could place wreaths on it, said Mohammad Helal Hossain, Deputy Commissioner of Khulna.
According to officials, the district and upazila administrations and other organisations have chalked out elaborate programmes to observe the day in a befitting manner. ....
