Man who took more than $500K from elderly widow sentenced to 15-month community sentence
A Winnipeg man who pleaded guilty to violating the securities and mortgage broker acts after taking more than half a million dollars from an elderly widow will serve a 15-month sentence in the community — though he’ll still be allowed to contact the woman, for whom he's continued to run errands.
