ज्येष्ठात वैशाखाचे चटके; पावसाने पाठ फिरवल्याने बळीराजा हवालदिल

पावसाने जूनच्या शेवटच्या आठवड्यापासून पाठ फिरवली असून अधून मधून रिमझिम पावसाशिवाय संपूर्ण दिवस कोरडा जात आहे. तीच अवस्था जुलैमध्ये पहायला मिळत आहे. त्यामुळे आता साऱ्यांनाच पावसाची प्रतिक्षा आहे. रणरणत्या उन्हात अंगातून घामाच्या धारा बरसत आहे. ऐन जेष्ठ महिन्यात वैशाख वणव्यागत रायगडकर पोळून निघत आहेत. दुसरीकडे पावसाअभावी करपणारी रोपे वाचविण्याचा प्रयत्न शेतकऱ्यांकडून सुरू झाला आहे.
हवामान खात्याने व्यक्त केलेल्या अंदाजानुसार सुरुवातीला पावसाने आपली इनिंग वेळेत, नव्हे तर वेळेच्याही आधी सुरू केली. त्यामुळे यंदा ,पाऊस हवामान खात्याचे ऐकणार अशी खात्री वाटली. पण निसर्गाला कोणी आपल्या तालावर नाचवू शकत नाही,हेच खरे. किती तंत्रज्ञान पुढे गेले तरी निसर्गाच्या पुढे कोणी नाही, याची प्रचिती पुन्हा एकदा आली आहे.
हवामान खात्याचे अंदाज ‘तौक्ते’ वादळा पुरते खरे ठरले पण त्या नंतर पावसाचे सर्व अंदाज फोल ठरले.
ना वादळी पाऊस ना अतिवृष्टी… आता फक्त रणरणत्या उन्हाच्या झळा सहन कराव्या लागत आहेत. मधूनच कुठेतरी एखादी हलकी सर येऊन जाते, आणि पुन्हा सूर्य काळ्या ढगांआडून बाहेर येतो. गेले आठ दिवस रायगड जिल्ह्यात पावसाने चांगलीच विश्रांती घेतली आहे. त्याचा परीणाम आता भातलावणीच्या कामावर दिसू लागला आहे. सुरुवातीला झालेल्या पावसाने शेतात पाणी साचले, त्यामुळे रोपे चांगली तयार झाली. शेतात पाणी जमा झाल्याने शेतकऱ्यांनी लावणीच्या कामांना सुरुवात केली. परंतु गेले आठ दिवस पावसाने दडी मारली आहे त्यामुळे शेते सुकली आहेत. रणरणत्या उन्हामुळे रोपे करपण्याची भीती निर्माण झाली आहे.
आता शेतकऱ्यांनी नदी नाल्याचे पाणी रोपांना घालून ती जगवण्याचा प्रयत्न सुरू केला आहे. सर्वच शेतकरी पावसाकडे डोळे लावून बसले आहेत. दरम्यान अचानक बदलत्या हवामानात आरोग्यावर देखील विपरीत परिणाम होण्याची शक्यता वर्तवली जात आहे.
मान्सूनच्या सुरूवातीला जिल्हयात चांगला पाऊस झाला . नंतर मात्र पावसाने पाठ फिरवली . रोपे लावणीयोग्य झाल्यानंतर पाऊस गायब झाला आहे.
यंदा आतापर्यंत १००० मिलीमीटर पावसाची नोंद झाली आहे. पावसाने गेल्यावर्षीची सरासरी राखली असली तरी ऐन लावणीच्या दिवसातच ओढ दिल्याने शेतकरी चिंतातूर आहे. पीक हातचे जाण्याची भीती निर्माण झाली असून दुबार पेरणीची शक्यता निर्माण झाली आहे.

मान्सून दाखल (Monsoon in Maharashtra ) झाल्यानंतर पावसाने जोरदार तडाखा देण्यात सुरुवात केली आहे. कोकणातील रायगड जिल्ह्यात रेड अलर्ट (Red alert in Raigad) जारी करण्यात आला आहे. अतिवृष्‍टीच्‍या पार्श्‍वभूमीवर अत्‍यावश्‍यक सेवा वगळता सर्व व्‍यवहार बंद राहणार आहेत.
