Alliance firefighters, Mount Union collect blankets for needy
Alliance firefighters coordinated with the University of Mount Union to collect hundreds of blankets for people in need this winter. Donations were amassed at the fire stations on East Broadway Street and South Union Avenue and in boxes located throughout Mount Union's campus from Nov. 9 to Dec. 18. On Friday, the blankets collected at Mount Union were brought to the station on East Broadway Street.
