Six Candidates Apply For Springfield School Board Vacancy; Selection To Be Made Tuesday
By WMAY Newsroom Feb 12, 2021 2:28 PM The Springfield School Board will hold a special meeting on Tuesday to interview candidates for the board vacancy created by the resignation of Scott McFarland. Six people have applied to fill out the remainder of McFarland’s term. They are Sarah Blissett, Louis Day, Allissa Hall, James Jumper, Tiffany Lapp, and Lindsay Spoonmore. Board members will interview the candidates Tuesday afternoon and then officially vote to seat one of them at the regular board meeting that night.
