Lubbock man pleads guilty to manslaughter
A 34-year-old Lubbock man was sentenced to 25 years in prison after admitting to causing a crash that killed a 61-year-old man two years ago. Joshua Ray Guzman, 34, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a second-degree felony count of manslaughter in exchange for a 25-year prison sentence in connection with the April 19, 2019, crash that killed Pedro Martinez Jr. Manslaughter typically carries a punishment of two to 20 years in prison.
