The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) has directed all distribution platform operators (DPOs) to ensure compliance with the interconnection regulations by deploying a standardised conditional access system and subscriber management system. Only systems that comply with regulations certified by the Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) will be permitted.
