From staff reports Eight new members were inducted into the Delta Rho Chapter of Epsilon Pi Tau on May 3 at the fourth annual induction ceremony at Glen Oaks Community College. EPT is the international honorary society for professionals in technology. The society, established in 1929, promotes excellence in academics, service and research, said David Devier, Glen Oaks president. “It is dedicated to honoring students with high academic performance,” Devier said. “However, this year we also inducted three new members of our faculty and staff. The focus is on recognizing all programs and professions that utilize technology in their training and work.”
