Kamal Haasan fails to make an impact in Tamil Nadu polls:- The results of the Assembly polls in Tamil Nadu are out yesterday and DMK dethroned the ruling AIADMK in the state. Kamal Haasan floated his own party Makkal Needhi Maiam and he has been campaigning in the state from the past few months. He made his electoral debut in the recent Assembly polls and he contested from Coimbatore South. Kamal Haasan lost in the constituency by a margin of 1728 votes. When the trends emerged in the morning, Kamal Haasan was leading by a margin. His lead turned narrow and the actor turned politician lost in the polls.
