Amazon started a mass layoff of employees this week citing macro-economic conditions. While the number of employees which will be impacted by layoff is still not clear, company CEO Andy Jassy has confirmed that there will be more firings in 2023.
Amazon CEO Andy Jassy earlier said that layoffs will continue at the company through 2023. He further disclosed that additional layoffs will take place as Amazon's annual planning process continues into the following year.
