A world of aspiring immigrants has now fully absorbed the welcoming words of President Joe Biden – that he will grant all comers unobstructed “catch-and-release” illegal entry over the American southern border to live and work without fear of ICE deportation.
So now they are coming, in rivulets and tributaries in South America that form a river by Mexico and, always troubling to homeland security practitioners, from a diversity of nations that would surprise many Americans.

HB 120: Kasey Carpenter’s instate tuition for illegal aliens bill is a fraud
Kasey Carpenter presenting HB 120 to the House Higher Education Committee. Feb 19, 2021“It was amazing to see that none of the legislators seemed to note or care that neither “DACA” nor “DACA recipient” appear anywhere in Carpenter’s tuition amnesty bill.”
State Rep Kasey Carpenter (R- Dalton) presented the latest version of his legislation to grant instate tuition to illegal aliens in the House Higher Education Committee last Friday morning. He was on Zoom from his car parked “on the side of the road” somewhere between the Gold Dome and Oklahoma. He was retrieving flour for one of his restaurants.

Maryland County Voters Seek to End 'Sanctuary' Status

Maryland County Voters Seek to End ‘Sanctuary’ Status
Maryland County Voters Seek to End ‘Sanctuary’ Status
By US Incorporated Staff, February 16, 2021
On December 10th, 2020 Howard County, Maryland Executive Calvin Ball signed CB-63, inappropriately named The Liberty Act, which prevents County employees from asking about the immigration status of residents, prohibits cooperation among law enforcement agencies, and requires that certain information related to citizenship be kept confidential in Howard County.
This draconian action resulted in HoCo becoming a “sanctuary” for illegal aliens.
But some residents are having none of it.
There is an ongoing petition initiative to send CB-63 to “referendum,” and let the citizens decide!

'Hidden homeless crisis': After losing jobs and homes, more people are living in cars

Even before COVID-19, millions struggled to afford a decent place to live. The pandemic has made the housing crisis even worse, says Pruss.
He expects a surge in the number of people without permanent homes taking refuge in cars, vans, RVs and campers – and not just in the nation’s most expensive regions such as the San Francisco Bay Area where vehicles have increasingly become a form of affordable housing but all over the country.
"We have seen more people moving into vehicles and more restrictions on public parking for them over the last decade, and then COVID hit,” Pruss said. “I am concerned that we may be facing a population increase in mobile sheltering and vehicle residence at unprecedented levels."
