Koh Chamroeun is one of the four villages of Kampong Phnom commune, Loeuk Dek district in Kandal province. Located about more than 50 km southeast of Phnom Penh, the village covers a total area of more than 52ha, and is home to 529 families, who make their living from farming and fishing.
Police in Mok Kampoul district were hunting for a suspect after a young man was beaten to death on April 15 in Sambuor Meas commune’s Ampil Teuk village of Kandal province. District police chief Ek Lon identified the victim as Bo Ratana, male, 20, a resident of Anlong Sleng village in the same commune. Police officers were continuing to search for the suspect.
