Concord Township trustees unanimously voted to place a 6.5-mill, five-year replacement safety services levy on the Nov. 7 ballot, which would replace a continuous 4-mill levy for fire, police and emergency medical services if approved by voters.
Concord Township officials will discuss a proposed replacement safety services levy at the Aug. 2 trustee meeting, having determined that the current 4-mill levy will not cover all of the community's fire, law enforcement and emergency medical needs.
