Former Ambassador says e-ID cards can be sourced for half of US$34M
As questions continue to linger over the Government of Guyana (GoG) decision to sole-source a German-based company to produce an integrated electronic national identification system and cards that will be costing taxpayers US$34 million, former Ambassador Dr. Shamir Ally has called on President Irfaan Ali to terminate the contract.
