City Council recognizes local youth; gives financial update LeAnda Staebner E-T Staff The Stephenville City Council recognized a local youth for his efforts to raise funds for a non-profit aimed at helping other kids during its regular meeting on Jan. 5. Kason Prince, of Huckabee, was presented a Certificate of Recognition by Mayor Doug Svien for his work in raising funds for Backpack Buddies of Erath County, a non-profit organization that provides children from food-insecure homes with healthy weekend meals during the school year.
