Phil Bishop has left his position as the CEO of the Reject Shop, effective immediately. The group’s CFO has been called upon to stand in until a replacement is found. TRS predicts sales to rise 3.5% for 1H FY23.
The retailer will buy back up to $10 million in shares, saying same-store sales growth this year is positive after tough 2022.
Phil Bishop will run the 360-plus stores and is a former director of merchandising at Bunnings and chief operating officer at Officeworks.
