Article: The FAA hires people with severe intellectual and psychiatric disabilities including commercial airline pilots - Apparently the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) 'has placed a special emphasis on hiring employees w/ a severe intellectual disability, as well as vision & psychiatric disability. These include vacancies for the role of airline pilot and air traffic control specialist. It's well meaning not to discriminate against people in many-most instances but we need to draw the line somewhere. Airline safety being one of them.
