TSA reports airport firearm statistics BOISE, Idaho (KIFI)-Idaho Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers report finding a total of 24 firearms in Idaho travelers’ carry-on luggage in 2020.  That is the same number as 2019, although there were far fewer airline travelers in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. POCATELLO — A local Transportation Security Administration officer is doing her part to help local people in need this holiday season. Christine Kish, who works at the Pocatello Regional Airport (PIH) and is associated with the Bannock Civitans, recently coordinated a coat drive at her workplace. POCATELLO, Idaho — A local Transportation Security Administration Officer is helping to keep members of her community warm this holiday season. Over the past few weeks, TSO Christine Kish who works at Pocatello Regional Airport coordinated a coat drive, collecting new and gently used coats. She placed a donation box in the TSA breakroom at PIH and invited her co-workers to participate as they were able.
