As potential storm approaches South Florida erosion expert says beaches are as well prepared as they've ever been

Two Jupiter Beach crossovers are closed because of beach erosion Thursday. Officials with the county’s environmental resources tell us the closures of crossovers #46 and #47 aren't surprising. A member of the Department of Environmental Resources Management, Andy Studt, said this area of Jupiter has been seeing hotspot erosion for the last two years, and recent storms have moved more sand out of the area.
