This feature article tells the story of Angelica Mae L. Mahistrado, a 26-year-old math scholar who has already completed her PhD. Angelica grew up in Cagayan de Oro City and later moved to Davao City to pursue her dreams of becoming a mathematician. Despite the challenges she faced along the way, Angelica persevered and is now an Associate Professor at Ateneo de Davao University. In addition to her academic achievements, Angelica has also participated in various seminars and will be attending the 35th workshop on Topological Graph Theory in Yokohama, Japan.
