Two people are in custody after the 26-year-old officer was struck and killed by a vehicle he had just pulled over in Wolseley, Sask.

Police earlier said they had two suspects in custody in relation to a collision in the area around the communities of Wolseley and Francis.

His family has been notified of his death. An autopsy was completed Tuesday in Regina and Mr. Galido’s death is considered a homicide. Around 10:30 p.m. on June 7, Estevan Police found Galido deceased inside his residence on the 800 block of Henry Street. His family has been notified of his death.
