The Women’s Wing of the Islamic Mission Secretariat has donated assorted items to inmates at the Ankaful Maximum Prisons.

  George Owusu, also known as Nana Yaw, who was arrested for attempting to smuggle narcotics into Ankaful Maximum prison last month, would spend more time in prison custody after failing to satisfy the bail terms imposed by a Cape Coast Circuit Court. Nsawam prisons infirmary upgraded to district Hospital The infirmary at the Nsawam Medium Security Prison has been elevated to the status of a District Hospital. In the same vain, infirmaries at the Kumasi, Central, Ankaful Maximum and the Koforidua local Prisons have also been elevated into clinics.
