Belton man indicted in attack on pregnant woman; victim had protective order against suspect
BELTON â A 21-year-old man who violated a protective order was indicted by a Bell County grand jury Wednesday in connection with an attack on a pregnant woman. Joey Mojica Jr., of Belton, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault of a pregnant person, indictment records show. The attack occurred on Feb. 4 at the Knights Inn, 1102 E. Second St. but officers met the victim at an address on Saunders Street.
