Govt to make all airports operative for 24 hrs: Mahbub 289 DHAKA, March 10, 2021 (BSS) – State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M Mahbub Ali today said the government has taken initiative to make the country’s all domestic airports operative for 24 hours for giving flexibility to the air travellers. “It will be easier for tourists to travel to major tourist destinations in the country when round-the-clock flight operations in all airports come in effect,” he said. The state minister revealed the plan while visiting development works in Chattogram Shah Amanat Airport, a press release said. The junior minister said as per directives of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in this regard, all the airports have already started preparatory work to run flight operation for 24 hours in day and night. ....
