The program was formally inaugurated by Chief Guest General Observer Shri Amlan Biswas IAS. An innovative Voters awareness campaign was organised by Cachar district administration at Devdoot Traffic signal point on Friday. The innovative campaign involved, drivers being welcomed with traditional betel vine and Sondesh on the street keeping in mind the Garv Cachar theme celebrating tradition with modernity. These drivers were also stamped with vote on 1st April for Garv Cachar Vehicular movement was flagged through innovative placards holding messages.
